Description

If you are looking to learn more about how to be safe at the range or get your RSO certification to assist with great organizations like the Minnesota High School Trap League, 4H Shooting Sports, or many others, this is the course for you.   

Course Content

This is a 9 hour classroom course.  Upon completion of this course, students who meet the standards will receive NRA certification for Range Safety Officer.  This course is designed to train participants to be a Range Safety Officer.  Many organizations, such as 4-H, offer shooting sports.  Range Safety Officers help to maintain an safe environment at firearms and shooting events.

This course is a NRA (National Rifle Association) course.  It is taught according to the NRA Basic Shotgun Shooting curriculum.  Learn more about the NRA.

Required Equipment

1. It is recommended (but not required) that you bring a 3-ring binder to the course along with writing utensils.

Fees & Registration

Cost of the course: $100

A $20 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your place. The remainder is due the day of the course.
