Shipping Policy
– No, We Can’t Just Send it to Your House
Look, we follow all the federal, state, and local laws to keep this a legit operation, which means we’re not allowed to ship firearms directly to you. Here’s how it works: any firearm you purchase from River Valley Arms & Ammo has to be shipped to a licensed gun dealer (known as an FFL holder) near you. That’s the law, folks, and we stick to it.
General Shipping Information
Here’s the drill:
- Buy the firearm – add it to your cart or give us a call if you want that personal touch.
- Find an FFL dealer in your area who can handle the transfer for you. Give them a call and confirm they’re up for it.
- Send us their contact info (phone and email preferred), and we’ll get everything set up.
- We’ll coordinate with the FFL, grab their license copy, and get your firearm shipped out – simple as that.
The shipping is on you, the customer. Remember we have to keep the lights on here, folks. We typically ship through USPS because they seem to be the most affordable and careful with your precious cargo.
Got more questions about shipping regs or need a play-by-play? Just hit us up – we’ve got your back.
Transferring of a Firearm to You
If you bought a firearm elsewhere and need it transferred to you, it’s gotta be shipped to our store. But hey, there are a few hoops to jump through first. Check out this page to get the lowdown on transferring your firearm.
Return Policy
– Let’s Get Real
Alright, here’s the deal on returns: if you bought something new and it’s defective, we’ll help get it sorted out through the warranty. Don’t let a hiccup ruin a good gun – we’re here to make things right. Just give us a shout.
Now, for used products?
You’re buying as-is. That’s right – used means no returns, no refunds, no take-backs. Once it’s yours, it’s yours.
And if you do need to return a new product?
Here’s what you need to know:
- Returns on new items come with a 30% restocking fee within 30 days of purchase. Yes, 30%, so be sure it’s worth it.
- You’re on the hook for return shipping. That’s right, it’s your responsibility.
