The Defensive Pistol League at the Redwood Falls Sportsmen’s Club offers a fantastic opportunity for shooters of all skill levels to hone their abilities in a safe, structured, and encouraging environment. It’s more than just pulling the trigger – it’s about refining your decision-making, enhancing your speed and accuracy, and mastering the art of defensive shooting. From moving targets to real-world scenario drills, every match presents a unique challenge designed to sharpen your defensive mindset and firearm handling.

RVAA and Community Support
Here at RVAA, we’re proud to support the shooting sports community in every way we can. Our team not only volunteers their time at the Redwood Falls Sportsmen's Club, helping to set up stages, run the matches, and ensure everything runs smoothly, but we also do this because we love the sport just as much as you do. While RVAA does not supply the firearms, gear, and training you need to compete, we understand the importance of skill development. As a permit to carry holder, it’s critical to continually practice so that, if ever faced with a life-threatening situation, you can respond with judicious accuracy. Defensive Pistol League gives you a medium to work on that, and like any skill, if you don’t use it, you lose it.

We shoot every other Tuesday night, with first shots at 6pm and a safety briefing prior to that.
