Class Details:

• Time: Starts at 10:00 AM
• Location: River Valley Arms & Ammo, Morton, MN
• Shooting Qualification: Conducted at Redwood Falls Sportsmen’s Club
• Cost: $100 for first-time applicants or $75 for renewals
• Deposit: $20 non-refundable deposit required to hold your spot

You do NOT need any prior firearms training or experience to join this class—ALL are welcome. Our experienced, NRA-certified instructors make the material accessible and engaging for everyone, no matter your background.

The course begins with a classroom session at River Valley Arms & Ammo covering Minnesota’s carry laws, firearm safety, situational awareness, and more. Afterward, we’ll head to the Redwood Falls Sportsmen’s Club for the shooting qualification. The live-fire exercise, required by the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA), ensures you meet all state standards.

A Minnesota Permit to Carry allows you to carry in 29 states, but why stop there? Our instructors also qualify you to apply for a Florida Non-Resident Permit to Carry, expanding your coverage to 34 states!
