One Day Performance Carbine Class

The one day Performance Carbine Class is a shooting program based in the practical use of the modern carbine. this course is designed for shooters who have a general understanding of shooting concepts but may want to refine their abilities and really learn how to shoot the carbine efficiently.

Topics Covered:

Safety

Carbine and equipment set-up

Carbine Zero’s and their effect on performance

Breaking down the fundamentals of Performance shooting

Embracing and managing recoil

Trigger press as it relates to performance

Efficient presentation of the carbine

Effective maneuvering of the carbine

Efficient methods of reloading of the carbine

How to let vision drive shooting

 

 

Required Equipment

An open mind with a desire to learn!

Semi-automatic carbine/rifle with your preferred zero (If you have questions about whether your gun is suitable or not, please do not hesitate to contact us!)

Sling (Single or two point suggested)

At least 3 magazines

Way to carry at least a magazine on your person. (A belt mounted magazine pouch/carrier is HIGHLY suggested, but pocket reloads are acceptable)

Reliable ammunition for your carbine/rifle (1 day: 400rds These are minimum requirements. The more ammo the better!)

Eye protection (ANSI rated)

Hearing protection

Water, snacks, lunch

Lunch of hotdog or hamburgers will be provided on the range, but feel free to bring your own lunch if you would like.

Cost $300($100 deposit required at registration
