Women’s Night at the Range
We’re very excited and proud to be working with the Redwood Falls Sportsmen’s Club to put on Women’s Night at the Range this summer! Women shooters are rapidly growing in population and, ladies, it’s time we get out to the range a little more!
Women’s Night at the Range will take place once a month in May, June and July of 2014. We’ll meet at the Redwood Falls Sportsmen’s Club the first Wednesday of each month for a few hours of fun starting at 5:00pm! The range will be open for you to come and shoot whatever your little heart desires but there will be instructors there from River Valley Arms & Ammo (myself included). Each month will be dedicated to a certain type of firearm. Of course, you can bring any type of firearm you wish to shoot to the range but the evening will focus on a particular type of firearm.
The cost will be $5 for the night and don’t forget, you can pick up your Redwood Falls Sportsmen’s Club membership from us out at RVAA for just $32 for your whole family for a year! To register, fill out the form below!
May will focus on the rifle.
Bring along your rifle and ammunition or share with a friend (it’s a good idea to line up a firearm ahead of time if you don’t have one)! The instructors will set up courses of fire each month. We’ll briefly cover the basics of shooting but we won’t take up too much time so we can get in as much shooting as possible!
June will focus on the shotgun.
Bring along your shotgun and a few boxes of ammunition! In June we’re hitting the trap range! We’ll briefly cover the basics of shooting but again, we don’t want to take too much time away from shooting!
July will focus on the handgun.
Bring along your handguns and ammunition or share with a friend (it’s a good idea to line up a firearm ahead of time if you don’t have one)! The instructors will set up a couple different courses of fire for handguns. We’ll briefly cover the basics of handgun shooting but we want to spend as much time as possible shooting so we’ll keep it short!
Supplies
Don’t forget to bring eye and ear protection as well as your firearm and ammunition! If you need supplies for the Women’s Night at the Range, feel free to stop by RVAA and we’ll hook you up!
