Civilian Edged Weapon Seminar

$45.00This course is designed to give students the tools needed from a physical standpoint as well as the legalities of carrying an edged weapon. Due to the nature of this course, it will be for those individuals with a permit to carry only.
Topics will include how to carry an edged weapon in relationship to a handgun, types and styles of edged weapons, the two grips when deploying an edged weapon, and the angles of attack.
Finally we will go over defense against an edged weapon from each of these angles. Class size will be limited to ensure 1 on 1 training and again, due to the nature of the class, it is reserved for those individuals who are current permit to carry holders.
About the Instructor
Mark Brendemuehl is a law enforcement certified instructor in use of force, defensive tactics, ground fighting, TASER, Aerosol chemical agents, baton, and restraints. He holds a rank of Shodan (1st degree black belt) in three martial arts and has been teaching for law enforcement since 1997.
