I have been waiting and waiting for our shipment of Undertech Womens Yoga Pants to come in at the shop. We finally got them in and I am in LOVE with them! First off, let me tell you that I LIVE in yoga pants and leggings. When I first started working at the gun shop, my biggest challenge was being able to wear comfortable clothes (to me that means leggings) and a firearm on me. After struggling with clothes and my EDC on the daily, I have started wearing jeans with a belt and holster. If I do decide to wear leggings, I’ll pair it with my Galco bellyband. Jeans have grown on me but will never replace my love for leggings.

One thing that I really like about these Undertech yoga pants, is that they ride a little higher but don’t go all the way to your belly button. If you have a booty or you like to have that extra bit to hold your tummy in, these are great! If these were low riding, the gun would sit to low and show under my shirt or the barrel would bump against my leg and be uncomfortable so I am really glad they are higher. I was also really worried about the material. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on something that will show my butt right through them and these don’t at all! It’s polyester material so it breathes well.

The firearm sits snug against my body but it’s not uncomfortably tight. I first tried my Ruger LCP. This gun would be great at any time. You could definitely go for a run or wear these to the gym if you have an LCP or another micro 380 pocket sized pistol (Keltic P3AT, S&W Bodyguard, Kahr P380, MicroEagle).  It’s so small that I forget it’s even there. I also tried my Glock G42 .380. Its not quite as small as the Ruger LCP but it’s what I usually carry on a day to day basis. If i wear one size smaller or a tighter undershirt, I would feel comfortable wearing these running and jumping with my Glock 42. Lastly I tried my Glock G26 (subcompact) and G19 9mm (compact). I was concerned that the barrel would be to long with the G19 when I appendix carry but I didn’t have and problems or discomfort. I just pull them up higher on my waist when I sit down so they don’t touch my leg. Back carry is easy with all types of guns. I still have to try my G34 9mm but that might be pushing it a little. 🙂

I don’t really have anything negative to say about these. One drawback is that they are either right or left hand, not ambidextrous. There are two pockets, one for appendix carry and one for right or left back carry. The straps to keep the firearm secure do not come undone, they simply slide over the top backstrap of the gun. They do have an easy access tab that makes drawing simple. You just grab the tab and slide it to the side to draw your firearm.  I do wish these would come in full length.

Overall I really like these leggings. I would definitely recommend these to all women who carry. Even if you don’t carry, you can still wear these and put your money or cell phone in them! This is a great product so stop on down to River Valley Arms and Ammo to check them out!
