We’re all searching for the right fit, that perfect holster that’s going to work for us.  Finding the right holster doesn’t have to be a challenge.  Know that you’ll probably need a few different holsters in your toolbox to have the right fit for the right job.

Phalanx holsters are a great option if you’re looking for an outside the waistband (OTW) holster.  These kydex holsters are versatile, accommodate several models of handguns, have great retention and hug your body.  This is a great option if you’re looking to carry OTW or you’re looking for a range holster.

Leather is fine for a carry holster because you’re not going to be concerned with re-holstering when the job is done.  But if you’re looking for a range holster, you may seriously want to consider a kydex option like the Phalanx holsters.  It allows for safer and easier re-holstering in comparison to most leather options.

For concealed carry, obviously concealment is your primary goal. Carrying inside the waistband (ITW) is a great way to conceal your firearm but can easily become uncomfortable.  Carrying outside the waistband is typically more comfortable but is more challenging to conceal.  The Phalanx holsters fit to your body closely to help minimize the difficulty of concealing your firearm when you’re carrying OTW.
