Morton Chamber Connection

We’re introducing Morton Chamber Connections! In a nutshell, a Chamber Connection brings business people together at your organization to allow you to connect, network and promote your organization to our area.

How It Works

The regular Morton Chamber Connections will be held the 3rd Thursday of each month following the kickoff on March 5th. Business people from the Morton area, Franklin area, and Redwood Falls area are invited to meet at the host organization from 7:30am-8:30am. Attendees gather for a networking time from 7:30-7:45. At that time, the Chamber Facilitator will instruct the attendees to gather in a circle. Each attendee will get an opportunity to introduce themselves, the company they work for and mention any new news for their company or community events. Once everyone has gotten a chance to speak, the host business has a captive audience for a brief 5-10 minute presentation explaining what your organization does, new things that are happening, and future plans. After the brief presentation, the door prizes are given away to the attendees. Attendees can then network for awhile afterwards.

The Role of The Host Organization

The host pays the Chamber a small fee ($30 for Chamber Members or $50 for non-Chamber Members) to host the event. They also provide coffee and a light breakfast (rolls, muffins, or fruit, etc) for guests. Lastly, the host also provides one or two small door prizes to be given away. These prizes can be anything from the organization’s promotional products (mug with a company logo, etc) to local business gift certificates or Chamber Bucks!

Attendees

Attendees pay $1 per connection and a business card. Invitations will be sent out via email, Facebook, and a press release to the business people in the Morton area, Franklin area, and Redwood Falls area. This is your opportunity to meet with members of the business community, to show your support for other organizations and to showcase your  organization!
