We’re making progress on our new storefront in Morton!

On May 15th, 2014 we announced that we purchased the old Morton City Hall building at 221 West 2nd Street in Morton, Minnesota.  Since then, we’ve been working our butts off getting the space ready to invite you all to check out the new store!  We’re not quite ready yet, but we’re hoping to invite you all down to check it out in August 2014.  

Here are some of the things we’ve been working on:

 

 

New Windows & Doors

Windows and doors on the building were in need of updating so we went all out to get high quality windows and doors that still allow light to come into the building but offer a lot of additional security measures.

Remodeling, Flooring, & Painting

 Remodeling

 In order to make more space for awesome stuff, we decided to take out one of the offices that was on the lower level.  It gives us so much more space!  Pictured above are Matt Johnson of Mr. Deeds and Steve Anderson of River Valley Arms & Ammo working out some of the final details for the remodel.

Flooring

Much of the flooring was well worn and needed to be replaced.  In the office, half of the flooring was a beautiful rainbow granite and half carpet.  The carpet was removed and we repurposed the additional rainbow granite from the main space in order to finish the office off!

In addition to the office, the main floor space of the lower level was in need of some lovin’ so we were able to work with a local business to get this great flooring!

Painting

 

Everything just seems a little brighter and cleaner when you get a fresh coat of paint on it, doesn’t it?
