The Savage Axis, previously known as the Savage Edge, is an excellent rifle. This rifle is in very good condition and in a time honored, respected caliber, perfect for whitetails, mule deer, antelope and down to coyotes. It is an Axis  model, meaning it comes with Savages  AccuTrigger. It has a sleek hardwood design with a smooth bolt action and sling studs for mounting accessories such as sling and bipod.
