Join our team! River Valley Arms & Ammo is looking for social media influencers to work with!
We're looking for a social media team member! Someone who loves hunting in Minnesota and the Midwest and is looking to partner with a small, family owned gun shop. You don't have to be a professional social media personality, you just have to love hunting, firearms and sharing responsible firearms ownership with your world.
We're open to ideas but we're thinking we'd love to have you come visit our shop, find some great gear for your next hunting excursion and produce a vlog and social media posts for your social channels about your experience.
If selected, benefits may include RVAA apparel, accessories, a gun, funds for competitions, hunting excursions, trainings or other opportunities to promote your brand and ours. We are really open to conversation on how you would like to be compensated.
To apply, simply fill out the form below by August 9th, 2019. Preference points will be given for influencer applicants within 120 miles of our store location in Morton, Minnesota. We'll check out your style of posting, number of followers, passions and your form submissions. We're asking that you submit a sample photo based/graphic based post as well as a sample video based post. Feel free to contact us with any questions!
Why we're doing this
The firearms industry is tough. When you play by the rules like we do, people still think you're the bad guy. For example, because we're a registered FFL and promote the sale of firearms (which some people refer to as weapons), platforms like Facebook won't allow us to do paid advertising. This makes it difficult to reach responsible gun owners who want to hear our story. This is why we're seeking to partner with social media influencers - people who want to help share our story!
